Edwin Gitau has taken the initiative of equipping young people with information about drugs, the life skills necessary to enable them to deal with different situations without turning to drugs, the ability to resist pressure to use drugs and an understanding of what drugs are. Below is an account of the ongoing achievements.

Many children, all over the world, start getting into contact with alcohol and drugs from as early as 5 years, with this in mind, Edwin offers to create awareness to reduce and prevent new cases of substance abuse. Jamhuri Primary Class 7 & 8 (2015) is among the beneficiaries of the initiative supported by Jungle Foundation.

It is for this reason that we visit children in schools like Matopeni in Ruiru to impart knowledge on effects of Alcohol, Drugs and substance use. A demand reduction strategy!
